Based on my recent experiences and the general theme of many of the reviews the trend seems to me to be an expectation of a higher tip while a feeling rushed. Some popular spots which have received lavish praise in the past have gone from gourmet to fast food. It’s sometimes awkward, but holding the tip until the end and then explaining a reverting back to the old rate due to rush job or shortened time could go a long way in the ladies taking notice. It’s getting to the point you have little to lose
Tipping is not going up, some of you folks just do as you are told... they try to go up, and you set your range just as they do, is that simple, if its fair its always accepted immediately... nothing to do with rona, only with lack of negotiation skills from your end... cause the skills are descent at theirs
