I'm approximating the date (I don't keep records) but yes it was a Friday early last month.

Hypothesis that Fridays may be more risky because that's a pay day (I think I read something like that once re. drug raids)
When WenV got shut down it was towards the end of the month / first week time period. Makes sense now. I'll avoid mongering during that time period from now on lol.

I went QQ the other day and they are still in business. It sounds like a annual routing check,
I also heard about others place were inspected too.

I wonder what they can realistically 'check' for. Anyone underage perhaps (though I've never anyone underage doing that work, in my experience). Even when I got for a regular/non-he massage, one gets aroused, so that's not exactly a crime either. Maybe they try to catch a provider and customer 'in the act'? Anyone ever been arested at any such annual 'checks'?

I thought massage establishment was under health department. I expect Health Services to do occasional inspection of licenses etc. but police? Would you mind sharing what questions were asked? Did you have to show any ID? Thanks.

When they had a bunch of SF checks one thing that stuck out in the reporting was improper dress codes. Obviously low hanging fruit.

They said I wasn't in any trouble, they weren't interested in me, but we're trying to determine if the place was engaged in illicit activities.

They asked questions about what services I went for, what did I pay, did I pay in cash, did I make a reservation, was any offer for extras made, etc.

They asked for ID but I didn't have one on me as I had walked. They took down my name and address.

Never heard anything more about it
