I would keep far away from edison even at the places i know are good
if a person gets a LE record on file- ur life is screwed job family n everything

I heard from people close to the matter in edison that its an ongoing process and mayor is on it as its easy money which they seize n no one can dispute it even

… unfortunately Edison is now in the same LE limbo as Delaware for currently open Stores… check the DE threads for the climate down there over the last year.. “Winter” came… hopefully this is a local phenomenon In Edison..

I believe Delaware (Wilmington Newark and dover) are all back to normal service for the past 3 months or more. Am I mistaken in this? I am local to nj but engage in regular business travel to the constitution state. Please advice.

… definitely not back to normal down there.. the customers are all still paranoid.. the AG’s task force to counter Trafficking is still investigating.. and stores are in a state of flux.. the strange thing is that the Maryland border Stores which were very dangerous in the past have not been molested by LE in the past year.. MD laws regarding Spa busts are onerous.. and usually result in serious jail time for Owners.. go figure..

If they start penalizing , customers will surely stay away as the risk is just outright too high to get a le record
most of us work good jobs to afford the hobby and most of such jobs do not even allow you to get any kind of le record on file
So as much as it feels super bad , we just cant risk it..i think edison going down was big..was on the watch for edison ever since the new mayor came and broke the statusqo..he wants to prove and as he cant prove in any real good way these are easy ways but hits into poor people’s livelihood

There are still some towns where its still allowed .. but ya right now we got to be cautious more than ever.

… I think and I hope this is a one off and not a trend Statewide.. which I doubt…and if this is a push to bring Developers and the associated graft and corruption it’s depressing even in NJ where it’s been institutionalized for generations… someday our Hobby will be legal just like gambling and cannabis but for now just find a good store in a friendly neighborhood and keep us all posted..

To the best of my knowledge the answer is no. Mongers are typically ok in most, if not all cases of busts. I speak from some personal experiences so am fairly sure of this!!

But ya every case can be different and i sure hope it does not get more bad than it already is
The amps should have better front door security as that will likey get time for the inside to be adddressed in line

… here’s how it goes Dudethro.. middle aged walk in comes in around opening time .. rings in .. enters.. door is closed.. he’s plainclothes cop.. says “oops” left my wallet in the car … opens front door and goes to exit and 15-20 officers (thugs) push through the door.. disarm the Blink cameras.. shout “ where’s the money” and proceed to tear the Store apart.. if you’re unlucky enough to be indisposed you’re detained and interrogated…
… front door security can’t stop them for a NY minute..
