The internal spa dynamics have changed over the years. When the K-girl spas dominated, they usually had an experienced mamasan that took good care of the girls and the customers. Get in with the mamasan and you could be pretty much assured she would get you what you wanted and even call you when she thought you might like one of the new girls coming in or coming back. Since the Chinese invasion of the AMP scene, I do not see the same attention to the customer. The Chinese spas usually have quick turnover, girls may only work certain days of the week, and management may be just one of the girls in the fort. Warm body, cold cash. My favorite mamasans have all retired so my loyalties have ended with any given spa. Instead of relying on a mamasan for intel, I now use WeChat for the Chinese girls, Kakao Talk for the K-girls and WhatsApp for the Latinas that I care to stay in contact with. If you have a good relationship with one of them, they will give you their number and will tell you where they might move to or come back to. They then arrange the appointment and will be there waiting for you. My first girl at Palm Tree was an absolute gem. She moves around the country, but we always get together when she is back in the area or when she is "on vacation" back to Flushing.
