This gentlemen they work all their life and paid their dues. They deserve it . We don’t subsidize them .but paying $18000 a year for schools taxes that I don’t have any kids that is something that it’s just wrong . That is New Jersey no wonder people are fleeing out this state .

I paid into social security for 55 years, since I was 16. My pension is what the company I worked for 40 years is paying me now.
And my IRA $$ comes from investing in a 401K for 30 years. SO NOBODY IS SUBSIDIZING MY HOBBY.

Unfortunately it’s not easy
It’s like any addiction. But the difference this a very expensive addiction. You need to take control if not at the end you will end up with no money just like a gambling addiction. It’s not easy. That is for sure
