Summary: I was in the area and decided to give Ocean Spa a try. They are on Rte. 15 in Lake Hopatcong. I went in and 2 women were there, both probably in their mid 40's or so. One led me back with her arm around me and mine around her.
In the room she collected the house fee which is $60 for the hour. There is a price list with other times and prices but I was focused on the price for an hour. I got undressed while the woman left with the house fee. In a few minutes she came back in.
Her name is Cherry. She had me lay face down. She covered me with a towel. After some small talk, she started an acupressure massage through the towel. At some point she removed the towel from my upper half and with oil started a pretty good Swedish style massage.
She has a very good touch. Sometimes strong and sometimes softer. She worked on my upper half: neck, shoulders, hands and back for a good amount of time before moving down to my legs, removing the towel from that area. She worked on my butt, legs and feet for a while. She used long slow strokes which felt very good.
She worked on me from head to toe while I was face down. It was very relaxing and enjoyable. It felt very good.
At about the half hour mark she used hot towels to get the oil off. She did not do much of a ST before having me flip over. After the flip she started a ST on my chest and stomach area but then she caught me by surprise. She said that she would like to be tipped first. I said I never tip 1st and would tip later. She said she would like the tip 1st, so I gave her the minimum I tip for an hour massage which is $40. She asked for more and I said no but that if more was given then a larger tip would be given.
Using oil she worked on the front of me again from head to toe. She used the same wonderful touch that she used on the other side of me. The massage lasted the full hour.
It was a nice massage experience. The only thing that was a big turn -off was the up front tip. When I was getting dressed I told her that she would make more money if she did not ask for the tip 1st. I told her that most guys do not like that. I told her that I might have tipped a little more if she did not ask for the tip 1st.
I have to say that it was nice that she did do a full body massage front and back. Most places spend most of the hour working on the back, neck and shoulder area. Cherry did not. She made sure that she worked on every part front and back. I liked that a lot and for that I would have tipped a little extra.
Even though I had a nice time I am not sure that I would go back because of the upfront tipping and that a tip was even asked for.
Hopefully she will not ask for a tip at all with other customers.
