Bait and Switch --- a true act of deception, when something is good is advertised as being available and then switched when you arrive is despicable.

But if something happens on your way to shop, and the good thing becomes unavailable, I am ok with being offered an alternative.

I have discovered gems this way, and was thankful for the switcheroo!
