So how do we respond to the private part of the discussion.
Is there a “private only response” button?
Or we just never respond?

Use the privacy tag. In the editing menu when you're composing a post, there's a little man wearing a hat...that's the privacy tag...whatever you write in between the tags will only be visible to those who have private details access.

From one of TJ posts:
The little Private Eye stealth icon in the post tools is what to click. When you click it, the Code which is the word PRIVACY inside of brackets is inserted into the body of the post, with the second set of brackets including a back-slash indicating it's the end of the post. When submitted, anything they posted inside those brackets is rendered private.

This is another huge forward step for the safety and security of our members. Those calling for discretionary measures should be thrilled with this.
I'm going to give an example below but I'm going to put spaces so that it only acts to show you how it's done

@anarchy08016 - did you not read any of the follow up posts after the review?? If not, I highly suggest you do. This time is just a suggestion...next time won't be.

Mods.. So we cannot quote anything in a review to ask questions??? Like, what are we doing? It’s 2024.
Like, what are YOU doing? Did you not bother to read the posts above, and instead, just start typing away without any informed facts?

No one said what you're claiming...you cannot quote anything in a review PUBLICLY, which all comments are. There are 3 exceptions, which any member can use at their discretion....1) you can use the PRIVACY tag, which has been discussed above, 2) you can ask your question in a PM to any member, or 3) you can post in the private access section.
