I think you are talking about the park on 21 street called John Murray's Park. A block away is the post office.
And there is a high school in the other direction called High School for Technology at 45th Ely Avenue
I believe there was two spas at one time. One in an apartment house and another on the second floor of a commercial building. I do not think they are there anymore.
