The only accountability an owner has is to his customers. To keep prices fair and in this business , his staff better than the next place. Having to bow down to people who have never put a foot in the door, or never intend to is a waist of time. There are not enough hours in the day to pay bills make a schedule, hire staff, answer phones , and keep a place going for 13 years. But I guess there is always time to defend what you worked for. If thats a temper tantrum so b it. May b you can cut and paist a few posts where he cursed people out or went ballistic. If you can find them , I m sure he would apologies

And there IS a responsibility to the customers. You could have simply said you do not want any reviews of your business on this board, and admins have always been agreeable to that. BUT. That would have hurt business.
So you decided that, since this board doesn’t operate within the confines of your boundaries in terms of reviews, that the issues the establishment faced which is ALSO a cost of doing business in this industry, was the fault of those giving you free advertising.
This would be the equivalent of my doing an exceptional hvac project on a customers home, and then blaming THEM when they referred me to a pain in the ass neighbor. And it was ok to be emotional and frustrated in the moment, I suppose. But you’re continuing to defend the position. If business is so good without the board, simply request no reviews be posted and that’s that.
