Recommendation: Yes
If you get a real deep tissue and have not had one before, you can expect some soreness for several days. Also drink alot of water to flush out your lymph system and kidneys. Once your body gets conditioned the discomfort should not be a problem, if you continue with that modality. If it really hurts during your first one, I would tell her to use less pressure until your tolerance increases. Stretching is OK within reason, but bouncing just causes damage. Enjoy.

Thanks! I'm going to give it a try. I've had had deep tissue plenty of times before. I'm typically sore from travel (not so much these days..) and working out so it's a welcome relief.
