I really love this review. You nailed the atmosphere and vibe. What’s best to me is how surprised you were with the whole situation. What you describe was once common throughout NJ. All over the state. Being 18-19 trying to sneak in and get served. Like the disappearing local dive bars and taverns with a local band, local girls and decent food. Haven’t been in there since the pandemic, but it’s nothing like the Goose. Whereas you could drop 130 at the goose and get everything in that closet of a room, I was told that you need at least three bills for Silk, and that will possibly get you a HJ or BJ, depending on the girl.
