Is this place operating despite current events?
Unfortunately the Latinas and black pros have been the most careless providers during this pandemic.

Their need and perhaps real lack of money has caused this i would assume. The date says less than a week ago. @oheye812 shouldn't get credit. No price, no phone number.

Stupid theory. its because the majority of people in america stopped supporting asian businesses as soon as this started. Same goes for cuisine. Notice how its very easy to get a slice of pizza instead of General Gao's these days? Asian owned establishments will take the longest to come out of this mess.

No Tony. If you took a minute to check the ads you would see far less Asian ads than before. Before Asian ads would be at least very close to the amount of Latina and black provider ads. The Asian providers have taken this much more serious. Some spots closed before they even put in a stay at home order.

Also what are you even speaking about?? Most Chinese restaurants are closed many pizzerias stayed open. The Chinese have taken this virus much more serious than Americans have.

None of this is theory it is factual. Open your eyes and look for yourself.

As the saying goes you can take the horse to the well but you can't make it drink the water.

Bullshit. Asian businesses continued to thrive right up until the governors gave the stay home order. Asians worked as long as they felt safe and as long as they could. It was their families that were experiencing this back home a few months before it hit America, so they knew how bad it really was.

Very surprised that I have to follow up on this, but then again this is the era when calling this "the chinese virus" is ok. See links below. And trust me I work in marketing. Safety is just a nice way of saying "we will reopen when customers feel comfortable eating our food". You misread my earlier statement as well, I said chinese restaurants are closed but italian are open because many feel uncomfortable eating chinese when this started. Sad to see we live in an era of naivety, but brush up by reading the articles below.

"Roughly half the Chinese restaurants in the United States have closed because of the COVID-19 pandemic, a result in part of consumer prejudice and misperceptions, according to a new study."
https://www.restaurantbusinessonlin...s-chinese-restaurants-have-closed-study-finds

The global response to COVID-19 has made clear that the fear of contracting disease has an ugly cousin: xenophobia. As the coronavirus has spread from China to other countries, anti-Asian discrimination has followed closely behind, manifesting in plummeting sales at Chinese restaurants, near-deserted Chinatown districts and racist bullying against people perceived to be Chinese.

I may use your thinking this fall though. When I notice the chipotle's and jersey mike's replacing the local chinese restaurants I will say "Maybe the owner decided to get out of the business due to safety"

I dont need an article to tell me why a restaurant is closed. In Nyc and northern Nj they are closed mainly because of safety concerns for themselves.

There was even a thread asking where Chinese restaurants are so they can have some lomein.

Also Jersey mikes is a rip off i paid $15 for a foot long sandwich.

I dont even like chinese food much. However they were doing fine by me until they closed.

Stick to reviews. Take your political debates to the discussion section. How many times do the moderators have to say this? Great review original poster. And if you read between the lines you know where he is talking about. And it’s a LMP. Rates should be known by now. They are all relatively the same.

China town in NYC was practically empty weeks before the stay at home orders were issued. When I would head down for business you would see more whites and tourists than actual Chinese. They were getting info from the mainland about the virus and were smart enough to know it was already here in the US. Bottom line is they were aware of the severity of the problem and took action for their own health. Dudes that have the itch for amp’s will not stop. Speaking for myself, I can’t fucking wait; I’m like a caged animal.

Makes sense. Studies and journalism dont carry much weight anymore. I hear bleach kills the virus as well. Willing to forgo studies and journalism to try it out. To make this come back full circle it sounds like many should visit this LMP as "Ignorance is Bliss"

Perhaps you should contact Uncle Leo and your local congressmen to do something like the following when this is all over lol.

In 2003 when a different coronavirus called SARS broke out in Asia, a lot of people stopped coming to the neighborhood. The mayor had to hold a publicity lunch to urge people to come back. And this time, Chen says he's lobbying the city to make a similar show of faith because a lot of people, Chinese and non-Chinese, they seem afraid. He says, just look around town at all the people wearing face masks.

Don't think that xenophobic applies solely to the US. My daughter was recently travelling the world (left last Sept) and in the last few asian countries she visited just 7 weeks ago, as a white foreigner, she was not allowed on public transportation or in restaurants. This happened in multiple countries. In fact, she was travelling with a few Euros and they would pay locals to do food shopping while they waited outside in order to avoid issue with shop owners.

since i didn't get credit for the review i can only assume that the info wasn't complete. it is similar to other reviews i have left and others. However,
I think it is pretty clear what LMP I have reviewed. And when should a review be denied by not giving the PRICES.
Do you need to know the DAMAGES????. I will put the review in again and give you the number of the place but the DAMAGES will not be there if you need to know PM me. I will be happy to give you any information you may require!!!!

Thank you, believe it or not the review was not credited. i added some info and re posted it. the moderator could not give me a reason why it wasn't allowed. it has the same info that most of the reviews have.
anyway thanks for being astute to read between the lines
