Exactly, Philly is a big city. People act like the guy is gonna go down to Floyd's Barbershop and say "Hey, I saw Joe down at the massage parlor." and then all of Mayberry is gonna know your secret and Goober is gonna break your balls when you get your car fixed and Barney Fife might even investigate.

I think the concern is legit.

Rando neighbor addresses you directly about the sketch activity you just participated in is unnerving. It means the location and the people coming and going are being watched and discussed by the nosey neighbors. Does anyone think vigilante Vic would never be so vigilant as to go on Facebook with license plate numbers?

There are alot of people with all day to stir shit.

Do people actually find parking on south street? I don’t even bother with that mess. They wouldn’t get my plate unless they followed me for like 5 blocks. Which I would pickup on instantly and divert. I can definitely see being put off by the question- but it wouldnt hold anywhere near the same value as if I walked out of a shop in my hometown and the neighbor in the house next door asked me.

It’s south street in Philadelphia for crying out loud. No one cares. The dude asking was probably a pervert himself. That whole block is littered with pawn shops and ghetto jewelry stores a massage joint doesn’t stand out.

That area of South is totally safe in my opinion and I always find parking between 8th and 7th. Would only see it being an issue on the weekend at night. That being said, anything can happen in philly, people have been shot and killed near Rittenhouse, and there was a shooting further down south a year or two ago, but compared to many other massage parlors that I frequent, This area of south is much safer than all of them. There’s so many police on the street now after that shooting, and all the stupid flash mobs of idiotic teens that have happened in the past.

A little off topic but two peoppe went missing from 429 south st in 2005. Left a bar and vanished into thin air. They even did an unsolved mysteries program on it. Was kind Of creepy

Yeah, but this is a big city. The chance that those few neighbors are gonna connect to you is not worth considering.

The wise Dr. Franklin once said "Forewarned is Forearmed" - followed by - "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."

If you're the type that requires "a ton of bricks to fall on your head" - then ignore the hoof beats you're hearing, it's probably just distant thunder...

The late Gentle Don once said "I'm not pissing on your shoes and telling you it's raining"

Wow this site is way more active than the other. Glad you don’t care if people know your biz. It was a great massage personally I try to go when less active.

Just my 2 cents on the person asking... that stuff is hard to control. But if you are truly worried about your car getting ID'ed, don't park near the location, and go a few blocks away. Problem solved... unless the person asking questions decides to follow you, then you got a whole diff set of problems!

Maybe for you lol I’m easy to link if someone wanted to
By the time you're ten feet from the door, no one will know you were there.
Pro tip: Crack the door and look. See anyone you know? No. Walk out and keep going. Don't turn around. Turn a corner or two. You're free.
Many places do have a back door (literal, not metaphorical), just ask to go out the back.

Many here seem like city newbies. In the city; it’s every man for himself. No one cares. You could be dying in the middle of the road and people will drive around you. Just the other day I saw a bum on the sidewalk and I don’t know if he was dead/sleeping/drunk/drugged or what; but this other random guy was throwing blankets on top of him to cover it up. Meanwhile people exciting the sandwich shop just walked around it without flinching. I took a brief gander but it was quickly erased from my mind as “meh” and went right back to my coffee.

I remember whrn this was a review about Haida. I was much younger then. I think Clinton was still president.

So back on Haida can anyone actually tell me the street number of this place? Like no lie. The actual location. I’ve seen 3 different things.
