vaccinations are pretty common, providers and mongers are coming out of the woodwork. Unfortunately, there are far more of us than their are of them and thus the price increases. It is supply and demand.

I’m sure everyone will agree paying more is what we do if the quality is worth it otherwise all homes would be one price, and ruby has a better than average team most of the time IMO for the location.

I boycott any spa charges over 60. Havent been back to ruby since rate hike about year ago.
... high five Philly .. was gonna post the exact same comment for quite a while.. but was reluctant to stir things up and flood my PM mailbox...$60 HF is a tradition in the AMP business and its still a fair price for entry... I hope others follow your lead and the $70 stores see their customer traffic decrease.. if traffic goes down the workers lose money and won’t want to work at the $70 stores...every client that boycotts is $100-140 lost to each provider in a store .. that’s where it will hurt the greedy owners.. the Providers depend on tips not HFS..

I am a little indifferent to the house fee.

A provider once told me she would not lower the house fee to increase business. I asked her why and she said she did not want the bargain hunting customers.

If a house has above average providers and is offering above average menu, then the house fee will naturally weed out the customers that do not want and/or can not afford those services.

In the end, they are milking cows. It really doesn't matter what part of the body they milk us with except that some parts command a higher price than others.

Now that I have thought about this for a couple of days, I will have to find out if this place has VIP level service and see if the price point for that service is in the Philadelphia market range.

I was not kidding when I said this woman could EASILY be in the EPM lineup.

Stay safe gentlemen and please, please, please stop lurking and start contributing some information so we all become more informed about what is happening in this market.

... Well said CB.. there’s way to much lurking on this forum and a dearth of contributions... some days it’s over 24 hours between postings on Reviews or Discussions.. I know that that there are hundreds of Store visits per day and nothing gets posted..??.. can someone explain why.. I certainly don’t get it..

Spa prices will likely rise. Anything that people haven't been able to do or haven't been willing to do in the last year will be in high demand. A $10 increase in a HF is no big deal.

Go try to rent a car. What was $30 a day is now $80.

Not to derail the review but I’m pretty indifferent to the HF. Pay .7 at Ruby and the provider lineup usually confirms it is worth it. Which means I’ve never seen a plain or ugly duckling there and that extra 10 spot guarantees I should not. Places like Golden could also be upping the fee due to location and perception that the dudes in the area aren’t gonna miss $10. Just my .02cents

.. I agree about the 10 dollar difference being minimal but it’s the principle that bothers me.. are we going to see Hf continuing to go up... maybe to $100 next year.. possible..

If they start charging 70 then no more short time. Bad enough did it at 60. Service good i tip well. Standard should be $1 minute mantra. We should dictate hf by our patronage choices. Its principle of the thing. During negotiations start offering $10 less see how they respond. Sorry just had get this little rant off my chest. Stay safe
