Thanks for sharing. It is truly amazing, that is a ridiculous procedure even if the virus was not out there. And frankly its not comforting to imagine what their procedures were precovid and what they will be once we get passed the virus. Do you think it is a cultural thing, laziness not wanting to wash things, or cheapness? Makes me want to bring my own sheet of plastic to cover the whole table...and tell them to keep their towels to themselves.

Thank you for heads up. I’ve noticed some places have put COVID on back burner putting us at risk. Hand sanitizer pushed aside, no mask ? Oh come lay down anyways ! No temp check just show me the money !
I’ve made it a point to check out the room upon arrival and make your provider know your desire for clean place. If they are on their game they will provide a safe setting.
Hopefully we all hope the girls are taking care of themselves in the mean time.
Be careful out there !

I guess I'm not the only one experiencing this. See my post cleanliness-in-the-covid-age
There has been only one Amp that I have seen change out the linen.
I may have to discontinue the AMPs unless they literally clean up their act.

I bring my own freshly washed table cover and face hole cover.
Along with my own towel, soap, tooth brush, mouth wash , and massage cream.
What you should be most concerned about is that damm table shower. Stand up for me all the way.

I thought about that in other places. Laying on a table that may or may not have been sanitized afterwards.
I try not to think about it but it is probably a petri dish.

Any one walks in to these places is always taking a big risk. Just make sure that they put new table cover . Towels are tough, if they decided to circumvent safety and hygiene there is nothing too much you can do.

It’s a cultural thing, partly. In cultures that don’t necessarily have running water, they think of alcohol as soap and wash themselves and everything else with it. In my opinion not acceptable at a spa.

I have traveled extensively through the Asian continent. In some rural areas I have seen them boiling their rag like clothes in sodium bicarbonate mixture, and beat the clothes on. Solid rocks, then put the clothes in a blue dye to make the clothes appear whiter .

Bleach solution kills everything, including viruses. Alcohol doesn’t even kill all bacteria. Hand sanitizer and alcohol sprays are in place to make you feel better.... thus why you have a hard time getting Clorox wipes...

Not true. Alcohol does kill viruses, including corona virus.
