The most effective marketing gimmick (intentional or not) in this “hobby” is the notion of the “Asian Only” shop. Gets guys thinking they are lucky to get in the door, makes the Asians feel special, makes the non-Asians think they are an exception due to their skills with google translate or great looks, gets some guys willing to pay more, gets some guys to put on their AMP goggles and see their provider as a FOB flower of the orient, allows the girls to be as randomly selective and inconsistent as their moods sway them, gets guys scouring the same damn website over and over no matter how many disappointments they encounter.
