Review: Fiona - NYAW New York All Wellness Spa (Disaster)

She just kept saying "Sorry babe, Sorry babe, Sorry babe". (As I'm sure she calls every client "babe" and baby"). Like... sorry doesn't exactly cut it here in this scenario, you know? And I was very polite and respectful in letting her know that. Then after few texts back and forth she just stopped replying. Just very poor handling of this issue on her part, which was quite surprising if I'm being honest, she was one of the last few I'd ever expect these types of antics from.
This all.sounds suspect. You have been to NYAW so many time over the years and never saw Fiona before??? Then basically say she is not hot and bad service.... you say that this is the first time nyaw was a waste of time...then say that is why you see yourself going there less lately??? Because you just had your first waste of time there?
If they double book you....one person gets their appointment cancelled.
They don't hope you only last half your time and then go to the other guy.
It definitely seems like there is another side to this story because there is so much you say here that goes against like 100 reviews of this place.

1. Beauty is subjective and typically in the eye of the beholder. So if I didn't find her attractive, then I didn't find her attractive. Just like you may not find a woman attractive that I happen to.
2. No, I haven't seen Fiona before. This was my very first time trying her and based off reviews I thought I would be in for a good time.
3. Read again... I said they made the other appointment wait in one of the rooms, neither of our appointments was cancelled. I was rushed as I said. I outlined that in detail so I'm not sure how you missed that.
4. Yes I've been going there less lately in general as I've found the quality overall a bit better at other places (such as the ones I listed in my review).
5. Lastly, so because one person has a negative experience it means it didn't happen or "there's another side to this story"? Smh. I'm sure other folks have had positive experiences here and I myself have as well. This is just ONE time it was a dud overall. Nobody is perfect, it can happen. People are so quick to cape if you have a legitimate negative experience. 1 out of a 100, not the end of the world.

Just a quick observation,
@Bushmasta I think @Chuck Norris wrote that because if you search, this guy has no other reviews of NYAW. Not even one aside of a mention of Sara and her dt skills and even that was negative. So to me too it sounds off As well.

I feel your pain @FuryOfFlashX I didn't want to sound negative at the time and never wrote a review, but I had an experience that wasn't too far off...scheduled on a rainy Friday, my fourth time there. Had to wait outside for an extra 10 minutes even though the place was empty. Sally was fairly rude, which shocked me. Experienced my first bait and switch and wound up leaving. I felt like something was wrong with me at the time because I had never read anything like that about NYAW on here.
On the plus side, it got me to discover PE, AL, the place in Greenpoint, and a few wonderful Indies. After that, I started to feel like the one thing that sets NYAW apart is Sally, and if she's not feeling it that day, it kind of lessens the whole NYAW experience. Oh well.

So you just missed the part where I said I've seen several other providers from NYAW before and have reviewed them on *other* review sites huh? I also find it funny how @Chuck Norris and @Lao Wai 2 guys who only joined just a couple of months ago and I have more reviews than in total overall, come on here trying to tell ME that MY PERSONAL experience was "off". Smh, hilarious lol. I've review Sara and Cora (who was great) on here before as well. There's nothing "off" about anything I outlined in my experience. Like I said before, even the best of the best can drop the ball every now and then, and it's ok. My review shouldn't deter you from anything.

But this review does not sound like Sally at all over hundreds of nyaw reviews. Sally bends over backwards to please a monger she messed up with scheduling on.

Yeah man it was really off-putting man. Like I donated for a half hour, so a half hour is what I should have been provided. 30 minutes. And how does someone as experienced as Sally make the mistake of double-booking? And then on top of it, not offer to even reschedule That's a rookie mistake, not one a veteran like her should be doing. I think that's what surprised me even more than Fiona rushing me out.

Vastly different from when I first started going there. So that's when I started to venture out to PE, PH, AL, GGS, KG and etc. NYAW was one of my first ever AMP experiences alongside MAGFE (which I've only had great times at). Funny you call him a "shill" when you yourself only just joined this board 2 months ago, only have 3 reviews, and 2 of them are from NYAW, highlighting how grand a time you had. (go figure lol). Since reading-COMPREHENSION clearly isn't your strong-suit let me try and help you out a bit.
1. I don't know how often you've been in this hobby but yes, that can happen from time to time with agencies, especially popular ones. There are times in which YES you CAN bump/run into other clients on your way in/out. So to think that's "unheard of" just kind of highlights either you're not well-versed in this hobby or you're just caping for NYAW (perhaps a bit of both).
2. Yes Sally gave me an attitude, which again surprised me yes, but again, not completely unorthodox. You think maybe people don't just have bad days perhaps? (Which I also even stated maybe it was that, but just can't confirm because I obviously don't know what was up with her). But yes, she got irritated I didn't go up with the other mongers. My man I know what she verbally said and texted to me lol SMH
3. No, I only thought Fiona looked "ok", didn't say she was ugly or hideous, I just said she wasn't up my alley, and she wasn't....
4. The service was decent at best, yes. Her BBBJ was ok, but nothing special. And yes, if you get rushed out in under 15 minutes when you're supposed to be there for a half hour, due to scheduling mix-up that is of no fault of your own (the client), then yes, that is BAD SERVICE.
5. Early indeed, 16 minutes early.
