Where I grew up a monger was someone that sold meat, fish, veg, or a variety of things from a shop or stall in the marketplace. I was surprised to see the word used here used for the opposite reasons, BUT in the interest of anonymity AND keeping this hobby a unique one, the changing of the use of it is as meaningful as using any of the abbreviations we use. It's a "special club" that I'm happy to be a part of (contrary to what Groucho Marx said, LOL).
