The first girl is just a girl I met as a customer and we slowly struck up a friendship, and then started seeing each other socially.

She's not the first girl in the business I've dated.. She is the first one though that didn't give me the attitude and excuse that for her, it's work, but for me its recreation, and that if we are going to have any kind of relationship, I have to stop and see her and nobody else. The drive is fine until I hit the GWB. That last 12 miles into Flushing takes over an hour these days in traffic.

Coming home was worse. I got detoured into Manhattan. Then when I got to the Holland Tunnel it was closed. It took me over an hour just to get from the Holland Tunnel to the Lincoln Tunnel. The traffic was literally crawling.

I hate the GWB with a burning rage. I have never had a good experience crossing that bridge. But I’m damn glad you had quite an encounter.
