I see your point but it's not entirely true. Most AMPS have a customary structure for HF and tip. A monger knows this either by visiting personally or doing research here. This is not like evaluating your waitresses quality of service and then deciding how much it was worth. "Tip" at an AMP is a misnomer - it's really the fee that goes directly to the masseuse, bypassing the house. Guys want to haggle this with the girl - go right ahead. But the monger who plops down the expected amount right off the bat is guaranteeing the service they came in for.

I completely disagree with everything you said except the last sentence. And, in my experience, in FS shops, and that is the subject of this thread, I have never seen a list of acts available and their price. That is for R&T shops. And in restaurants if you tip cash, that doesn't go through the house. Reported tips at restaurants are normally average of the check total. And lastly, the expected amount to put down is subjective at best and is the reason we are having this conversation. Because we make the market. And when several mongers go in and throw money around and then tell other mongers about it, and when the girl is unhappy with a " standard" tip, and the monger just relents and coughs it up, that becomes the market. And that is what, whatever the market will bear means sir. And it ain't due to inflation !!! Again, tips are subjective and relative, especially in this business, and should be private.

It is only normal for those who have more money than common sense. But it will become the market standard as some of the mongers on this site, evidently with deep pockets, have become spa advocates. Time and time again it is expressed on this site that tips and money, other than house fees, are strictly between the customer and the provider and should be kept confidential. No standard can really be set for tips for a service, because service is YMMV and expectations are subjective at best. That is what PM's are for to get specific info. This is really getting out of hand as the providers see this stuff too. And, tips are for service received, not service anticipated unless negotiated upfront. That also is confidential. I suggest the monitors delete any reference to money other than legitimate house fees.

You can go out to find what ever quality of service you can for the old standard amount. That is your right. Other members here can tip a little more if they think it helps get them better service. I have been tipping only a modest amount more since the Bella days, and for a fact, it was the reason that my service is better than the norm. We all have the right to play the game the way we want to. And of course the tip amounts given should stay in the private access areas.

Here’s the “definitive” word from rAMPage himself last August 15th, on what to include in a review’s Private Details regarding how much you paid.

“Ok. Just to clarify to some of you real players out there. Just give the base price for the place. You do not have to share what you paid.”

Many times what you think is above the base price is false. Sometimes to get what you want the base price is a little higher and your desired base price does not exist. My suggestion just mind your own business what customers pay.

I think the reference to base price only meant the house fee. But, if I am wrong, why don't you enlighten the site what you mean by the "" old standard" and false base price and quality service and modest amount and desired price, etc. These words are all subjective and vary on so many variables. But you have been espousing your thoughts about good deals and better service for years. Care to clarify your thoughts from your wide variety of experiences and spas that have given you this in depth knowledge and understanding of spa operations and hobbyist mentality ?
