Like many mongers I treat the encounter as a date and prepare accordingly. However I always comply if the provider wants to shower at the start which 90% do; there are a subset of KGirls who skip this and initiate at least some activities without a wash and I follow their lead as in my experience they are as meticulous about their hygiene as I am about mine. Some resort to a hand towel or wipe in lieu of full wash and this is understandable given the beating their skin must take from all the wash downs-lotion can only do so much lol. I have seen certain well known providers dozens of times without an initial shower ( perhaps the Hurricane of Bella fame started this style?) without adverse effects. I trust their judgement, particularly as backdoor service is not important to me so they can do as they wish. These veterans know what they are doing imo.

For me, the shower lets the girl feel comfortable that you are clean and it's a great mutual way to get the party started. Stand up showers are okay but I am still a tab;e shower/body slide kid to guy. Many of my greatest spa memories are of what has happened in the table shower. 20, 30, 45 minutes or more. Sometimes the massage room was only for undressing and dressing, lol. I say never pass up a good shower either way.
To be clear I have nothing against a shower, its just not my focus. I always inform the provider that I have just cleaned but go with her preference: usually yes and I never turn it down but if she seems relieved not to need one and proceeds I go with that. As mentioned previously some of the superstar KGirls make it their practice so who am I to judge. Interestingly there is some data showing mouthwash is an effective germ killer but not much about washing that prevents transmissions we are concerned with despite what intuition (or superstition) suggests. Again, its hygiene aesthetics rather than science driving the practice but sometimes it gets carried away- the GFE CAMPS in NYC commonly apply toothpaste to your Oring in the shower...I kid you not. I guess nothing like being minty fresh. You wits feel free to run with that lol.

Also, there are many providers who dislike constant showers because it damages their skin, hair (if it gets wet) etc. it’s not like you’re going to sit there and let them apply their lotion, moisturizer etc. also they aren’t going to do that every hour, every day. To each their own but there are legit debates to each side. Time to move on
You enter the space, first thing out of her mouth is "shower?". She's not starting light conversation, she's going through the tried and true script. She knows almost every guy is going to follow the script. Both of you get scrubbed up. All of the secret acronyms follow on the bed. She may have 10 more appointments that day, she knows she is going to likely have a shower when the next one arrives. While you are dressing to leave, she throws on the robe, bids you adieu, and she may, or may not, jump right into the shower, knowing shes taking another one with the next client in a few minutes. If she does wait, and you walk in proclaiming your stellar hygiene and no need for a time wasting shower, you're enjoying the closest thing to pulling a train as possible.
