A review with some details is better than no details, and I also found this review helpful, because even though I don't know which exact spot he's referring to, I know a bunch of spots on Eldridge, so I at least know which ones he's not referring to.

That said, don't think it's unreasonable for me to ask for a cross street.

Do you know the florist on Grand next to the 99 flavor Hot Pot???. Just turn south, a few door step, heading to twin Bridges.
Their used to be a $5 haircut place next door but it been long gone

There's only one spot I think on Eldridge where you have to go up the stairs. I heard the owner does like online reviews, but that was a long time ago--not sure if it's still true.
