Paco, I have a question, you're asking Moderator any chance you can step in here....I don't get it, this site is for reviews, the Moderator watches what is said in the guidelines, If the MMS wants no reviews that's between the monger and her, or has the MMS given the Moderator the heads up on post no reviews for my establishment
The moderator has stepped in before on behalf of those spas where the MMS has asked for no reviews. OWC is one of them. If the mod chooses not to, then that's his prerogative. I've said my piece. I don't understand your statement: "If the MMS wants no reviews that's between the monger and her". By posting a review, it's no longer between just the two of you--it's out in public!
Long time ago, I frequented a spa where the MMS requested "no internet posts". Trust me, they watch and they will determine who is posting and then, the particular monger will be outright banned from the place or their provider will be instructed to give horrible service so that the monger voluntarily stops going there. I always try to respect a MMS's wishes. It works both ways in this hobby. We all know the deal and we should all work together to protect the hobby and it's participants.
Ok Paco, Didn't know that" the moderator has stepped in before on behalf of those spas where the MMS wants no reviews" now I know, But you stated you don't understand my statement( "If the MMS wants no reviews that's between the monger and her"?? ) That means it's up to the monger to respect her wishes and not post, (no kidding it's out in public once posted)............the reason I said that is I didn't thing it was the moderators job( not knowing about the understanding between OWC & Moderator) to prevent postings , it's the mongers responsibility to honor her wishes and not post. not the moderator, that's what I meant....Didn't know about the little side hustle where a deal was made between the spa & moderator not to post. Hope that cleared that up, not back to busting a nut. right Bustanut
This is a discussion that seems to go on and on. To post or not to post, that is the question. Perhaps the best comment on this question came from DBOMB when he asked why are you surprised when your favorite place gets blown up after upteen reviews. Personally I don’t think reviews lead to raids, at least not directly. But, reviews lead to foot traffic which raises the attention of neighbors which lead to complaints which lead to raids.
I don’t care what MMS’s want and don’t want. However, if they don’t want you to post, its in your best interest not to post. Good spas have a sustainable repeat business and their clients discuss channel and share information with others. Even though I don’t care what MMS’s want, there is no need to review places that don’t want to reviewed.
Some of my favorite spas and providers were never reviewed. Excellent talent and good steady repeat business. I found out about these spas from providers who brought me in. And, from other mongers who provided an introduction.

I'm late to the debate, but I try to post only if there is some time between reviews or there is a new girl. There is a fine balance. For example, everyone always post about Ocean in Sayerville. I've read about all the girls there. I posted on a girl that was not reviewed previously just to give guys an opportunity to make up their own minds. Its a tough call either way. The reason this site exists is for us to share information. You guys have opened my eyes to some places that I did not know exists. Sometimes it is better just to IM someone and ask about a place. I do that on occasions and that works out okay. Some mama's have even asked me to look at the "internet" to see if anything is posted. I am not anybody's detective or a snitch so I leave it to the mamas to do their work.
Recently, a fellow monger saw that I had a poor visit and recommended me to a spot that has been reviewed previously. I went and had a great time and now it is another spot on my list. I did not post anything because the girl had been reviewed in the past month.
What I can agree on though is that if you post, you should be as non descriptive as possible. We understand what happens and a simple acronym or pseudonym can help us determine what are the possibilities.
