Yeah, I guess people move to Guandong because there are plenty of jobs, but don't know the Canto and the tonal structure is so different it's still not easy to learn. Easier to go from Canto to Mandarin. Can still read it, though. I met a girl like that at PP (who mysteriously was being marketed as Taiwanese.)
