Parking can be a stressful add on when you're trying to be on time. If you get too early in winter or summer you'll freeze or melt haha. I think there is a spotangel site that helps you out for street parking if you're not a regular Manhattan type. Also don't forget an app like park whiz...you can see garages in area with some cheaper rates, especially if you don't mind walking 3 blocks.
