I think you might have seen the wrong Sia (switcheroo?), or Sia is pretending not to speak English with you. Her English is perfect. She's 100% fluent. I had multiple complex conversations relating to academic topics and she (smart as she is) totally held her own.

That goes for me too. She writes well also.
I know that Sia has been working very limited hours - maybe one day/week?
I suspect that BG is sticking someone else in to cope with the high demand.

Yup, I believe she is a finance student at nyu.

Rightttttt, that's exactly what brilliant students need to do. Because, you know, nobody would hire a finance major student in NYC. Especially, from NYU.
I think her story is legit. She was telling me she don’t want to work my days because she rather take a internship at a tech firm during the summer. She was asking me about led in finance too.

Two things -

1) she is definitely a student - no debate here, it's definitely true

2) unfortunately, I confirmed they're doing switcharoo with Sia. I'm sad to say that I went today to see Sia, and was shown to the room with another girl they called Sia. It was not "the" Sia.

I like this place a lot and enjoy how kind they are etc, but I didn't appreciate that at all. I left of course. Hopefully they sort that out. I'd rather get a text saying "sorry, Sia can't make it in today" than trying to pass off someone else as the person I booked with.

So OP, I think this might be why you had the experience of someone who could barely speak English. I think it wasn't Sia after all.
