Summary: I hate to even write this, as BCT is a great place and very consistent in terms of massage quality and such.

However, earlier this week I went, as I often do when done with meetings in NYC. Called for an appt and when I arrived, the attendant I had an appt with said sorry, come back in 30 min. When I did, she then said she had another appt and so someone else will take care of me. She promised “next time”. I was panned off to not one of my 2-3 favorites. The massage was fine, though not very inspired.

I am not mentioning the providers involved because I like them all and I don’t think they were meaning to do a bait-n-switch. Mandy wasn’t there and so I think between Mandy not being there and the added exposure/popularity on BCT and some of the providers, that managing the appt schedule may be too much for them to handle without Mandy.

I am a bit weary now of making an appt with someone.
Recommendation: Yes

To be honest I never make an appointment, just call 10-15 minutes ahead and if they are free to tell them I’m on my way.

I was there on Saturday, late morning, and it seemed like the 'A' team was asleep (the two rooms with doors were shut). Drew Stacey, a new provider there. She is about 5 foot tall if that, and her push-up bra sure fooled the hell out of me. The TS and massage were good, though I would have liked alot more teasing during the massage. The ST after the flip was decent because she did not go right to the jackhammer approach but started with a nice slow and soft massage of my legs and chest, and while the ST was soft she didn't follow direction well. I am very picky with who I use and if I don't jell with a provider I will usually not choose them again. Next time I go will be my usual time in the late afternoon/early evening when the 'A' team is working.
