Please don't interpret my comment as an attack on you. I was merely stating that there was some disconnect between whoever was managing the phones and you. However, I don't believe it's my responsibility to tell you since I was abundantly clear on the phone:
- "Would it be okay to ask for the front/larger room? I don't mind the smaller one, but I do think it can be a bit distracting."
- "Yes, I got you. Can you make it 4:15 so I can make sure you have front room?"
You state that communication is key, but clearly, communication is something that EC/TRGC needs to work on. Should I have made more of an effort to call out to you when I realized what was happening? Sure. Even if I had brought it up, though, what could you have done about the situation? You just mentioned that the back room was the only one available.
As I've said, this is not an attack on you. I have been more than fair to Jules and EC/TRGC over the years, and I have always provided honest feedback to management.
