Y'all thought I was long-winded before. Oh, brother, buckle up.

I'm going to take these as sincere questions rather than rhetorical or an opportunity to show off. In these case, while I strongly disagree, I will try to stay respectful. Forgive me if it comes over as otherwise. (Yeah, maybe I was not so much in the case of that other recent dissent).

And right, many of you are too busy, so I'll do an exec summary version and then follow with an extended re-mix / grad school seminar for those that are intertested.

why you think I or other like minded veteran hobbyists should spend the next $600 on Aurora and not go split one or two young Japanese girls apart (whom have somewhat less body count).

There's like 30 Japanese girls I can pick this weekend in NYC, but why Aurora?
The simple answer is,

1A. YOU should not. Of course. Pretty clear you and I are looking for different things. We are probably not all that like-minded in the end.

1B. Precisely BECAUSE there are THIRTY other Japanese girls. There is one Aurora. OK, technically there now are 2 Auroras, the other apparently being a 19-year old screaming J Girl in whom I have zero interest. But you get what I mean. We still have basic ECON101 theory to contend with.

1C. Re: "body count", maybe over a lifetime, but manifestly NOT over the course of the day/week you're seeing these children. That's actually a key difference in the other direction. Not to mention the body count that is going in raw.

1D. Re-read the review. Last year's too. Thought it's pretty freakin clear why I think Aurora is the GOAT with many many details. Not sure what else I have to point out, but try this on for size for starters. Replace "Aurora" with your favorite 21-or-under JGirl's name. Would ANY sentence I wrote make any sense with that girl's name instead? I think not.

1E. For what it's worth, did y'all not notice that the author of the initial dissent noted he preferred two women that are, to my eye and ability to do math, significantly older than Aurora? (Still great girls! If we can call them girls).

I saw her for 280 at Goodgirls in 2021. Yes, she looks great and is very good at her job. But if she is not doing anything extra that she didn't do 2 and a half years ago, why would you pay more than double today? Pay maybe 50 to 100 more for the nicer place and inflation. But a line must be drawn. Can't say that I blame her though . If guys are willing to pay that then she is just being a good businesswoman.
This is a common line of reasoning. It's a very human, but from an economic perspective an essentially irrational framework for viewing the problem.

2A. I can do you better. I had her for 240 in 2018. She was prima facie extraordinarily and historically undervalued all that time through 2021. We all got away with murder. (BTW, I see this line of reasoning frequently cited with Gisella and her tenure as Sugar. She too was also ridiculously undervalued at the time compared to her peers. When I met G as S, I told a few PM dudes - this one is better than the 450/500 girls at VIPSpot. Then she became a 500 girl at VIPSpot).

2B. If I could choose between Aurora at 280 vs Aurora at 600, which would I choose? Let me think about that. OK, I thought about it. I would choose Aurora at 280. That is not the choice we have before us. (Actually, you COULD make an argument that Aurora at 600 IS better in some ways, because you're getting a fresher Aurora who seems to have landed on her optimal balance of revenue vs strain on her body. This may sound weird, but she seems happy with this phase of her career. Or at least comfortable. She gets to do things the way she wants to do things. That was not always the case at GGS. There is significant value in that.)

2C. I have a line too. And I crossed it. More in the grad school seminar why I don't regret it. And why I might do it again. Which means, yeah, I'm kinda fucked.

2D I actually DID write about how things are different now. I certainly did so in last year's opus. Sure, in a sense those things are intangible - though some of the tangible things are done even better now - but those intangible things are very very important to me, if not, it seems, to most of you. Some of that may be due to building a "relationship" - or we can probably call it rapport without resorting to quotes. It's not a real relationship, but it is a real rapport. This is impossible with the revolving door we so often see now, unless you're seeing your favorite JGirl 3x a week for multiple hours during her 4-week tour. I'm getting a simulated mistress, not a hole with a pretty wrapper.

In the longer version, I'm going to ask you all to do a little self-reflection on what we're looking for when we do this, and what it is we think we're paying for. We'll do a deep dive into the value of momentary pleasure vs the value of the MEMORY of momentary pleasure, sliding scale notions of "value" as well as "marginal value", how to view your choices not in isolation but as a package of choices. And then we'll dabble in an extended analogy to residential real estate. No sports analogies! I will also lay out - AGAIN - because apparently many of you didn't catch it the first 17 times - the many specific areas, where, in my view, nobody can remotely touch her. I will explain specifically why in pure 1-on-1 match-up, I would vastly prefer Aurora to my conquest today, who is probably the hottest 20-something JGirl around at the moment - while still respecting both today's conquest and those of you who would vastly prefer her. (Because that girl IS super pretty.......highly recommended, if you can squeeze your ass and genitalia into her crowded schedule).

OP, funniest on the board? I think that’s up for debate.
Wait, what? Fuck-off, dickwad!

Now THAT's comedy.

{Note: for my many friends on this board who are on the spectrum and tend to take things a bit too literally, no, I do not literally think Beatnik is a dickwad. I wonder what a Dickwad really is anyway. Beatnik knows this, as well. Because Beatnik is not on the spectrum. He's on SOME kind of spectrum, but not the one I'm talking about. Also, Beatnik himself is probably in the Top 5 funniest board members at the moment. #1 in the Stoner Division.}

They’re all someone’s child.

Ughh, what a simp loser whoever that lucky bastard is.

Whoa baby - too much Yayo ? Send me the cliff notes please and for the record - your moniker aside you are not an attorney correct ? The usage of prima facie in this application - is a tad off .

I’m going to put your reviews through Lexis Nexus citing key words such as “ kegel” ,
“ pussy” , “ discount” and “ rim” - isolate the key words

There are only a handful of girls that have been standouts to me.
Aurora is most certainly one of them. Top 3 in my mind.
I saw her not too long ago and she still has it.
Not only in the looks department but the experience you get with her is memorable.
Looks like BK's got some special memories.
I had a similar experience to this a few years ago. Definitely goes down as one of my most memorable sessions with any girl I've ever had.
If you build a repour with her, it most certainly pays off

OK, time for my real estate analogy.

I never liked the wine thing. Milk/inflation is apt, but it certainly is true that her price has outpaced even average hooker inflation, so that doesn't fully address the issue behind the griping. I'm gonna go real estate.

Aurora is DUMBO.

There was a time when you could rent out the most beautiful place in DUMBO with great bones and stunning views for the same as or less than some boring place on the Upper East with mundane dimensions. As you all know, over time, people caught on to what was there....and while all NY real estate went insane, DUMBO went the most insane of all. Do people who move there say "why would I move there, I rented a place there for half the price before?" Well, probably some do. Also it's gotten too fucking crowded...which is the opposite of what I want to happen in this analogy, because in this analogy the higher rent leads to fewer residents, and a much more relaxed environment which allows you to breathe in the air and fully enjoy the views at your own pace. But really you should just say to yourself - DANG, I was crazy lucky to stay there and enjoy all this for such an absurdly low rent all that time.

The new J Girls are all the new construction in Long Island City. Cheaper than DUMBO! Literally newer. Some of them even have pretty good views! Perfectly clean and functional. I've spent a few nights in Long Island City myself and have been generally happy with the results. Why, this past weekend I finally saw perhaps the most popular, most beautiful unit of all in this Long Island City cluster. That one had a great view. And still for lower rent than you can find in DUMBO! (Never mind that many of the same units in Shinjuku/Yoshihara/whatever the red light district in Osaka is called would be half the price. THAT question is more relevant btw, in theory YOU CAN fly to Shinjuku. But we don't have time machines. Though in this particular case, perhaps this most beautiful unit in LIC is not available for rent in Japan). Also, the crowding analogy again fails, given LIC feels relatively sparse. Imagine instead, if you will, an insane open house with a line of people trying to wedge their way in there. Also, imagine they line up very much in large part because they're invited to take off their shoes for an extra supplement and then they all sully the place. Wait - that's backwards. Imagine if taking off shoes was LESS hygienic. Like now my feet are touching where your feet have been and I'm getting athlete's foot. Hmm...gotta refine this part of the analogy. But I think y'all know where we're going with this. If I had time I'd figure out how to reference the fact that my parents used to wear special rain shoes OVER their shoes and call them "rubbers", I would do that. Do people still have those? Anyway, should I be outraged that for this higher rent I don't get to take off my shoes in DUMBO? I don't think so.

And frankly, while of course there are some variations, so many of these units basically look and feel alike. I can barely remember which open house was which anymore. You will NEVER EVER EVER forget your time in DUMBO

Anyway, no disrespect to the most beautiful apartment in Long Island City (cough, cough, rhymes with Hammy). (And starts with a T). Or to her tenants. I can see why you might prefer to sleep there. That's fine! We're all looking for different things in our homes. And I enjoyed my time there as well. But I prefer my unit in DUMBO. My unit in DUMBO has been impeccably maintained and polished. A tremendous amount of exercise seems to be going into the maintenance. The amenities, while always superb, are in fact a little better and deeper and more passionate than ever, if not necessarily different in kind. The most passionate amenities of any neighborhood I've slept in. Amenities delivered with panache. The unit has all sorts of character that simply can't be replicated in LIC with this new construction. Maybe in time LIC will develop equivalent character and amenities, but it's not there yet.

And good god, the most stunning, inspirational view I have ever seen. That's some world-class infrastructure. Never gets old.

Granted, I can't afford to sleep there most nights. It's a splurge. Some nights I probably WILL go to Long Island City too. Or even the boring ole Upper East Side. And the way things are going, I may have to move to Sunset Park.

The Sunset Park thing is both figurative and literal.

15.

Yeah, an imperfect analogy. But I already did NBA salaries.

Also, the views are still the views, regardless of the ladies from Kansas and Ahmedabad dining at Cecconi's.
Did you ever watch “An Idiot Abroad”?

Reminds me of when Karl goes to Petra. And how he’s like, I’d rather live across the street from Petra so I can enjoy the view. You can’t see how nice Petra is from inside Petra.

Bushwick was maybe ending it’s coolness 15 years ago.

I'm going to stick to wine analogies. NYC real estate is too depressing. I remember that clock apartment being on the market forever. They wanted some absolutely insane price for it. Street Easy kept writing about it.

I find that I always return to my West Village townhouse: her modestly elegant Federal facade (kept up with a repointing or two) belies her sumptuously cozy interior.
The mortgage is paid up, she generates income from the first floor apartment, and is surprisingly sunny, given the irregularly of her owner’s attentions (his eye strays to LIC, yet he’s constantly disappointed in the new, bland lofts); with relief, of a fortnight he returns to light a fire in the hearth of that warm domicile; which even after years, presents surprises, from caches in hidden cubicles to unexpected waterworks requiring emergency repairs.

Oh well. Ownership’s better than renting, right?
