So......is it in a shit part of the northeast??
It's a residential neighborhood, mixed single family homes and low-rise apartments.
The shop is the only remaining single family residence on the cul-de-sac block where it's located, otherwise just 2 1/2 storey apartment blocks.
Doesn't seem scary at all, but haven't been there at night.
Seems pretty tame and quiet.
I get the thing about parking in front of the shop (or in the driveway), especially with out-of-state plates. I park now around the corner on Rising Sun Ave.

I'd do as little walking as I can in this dead end street as possible.
I'm not a phily street vet. But all dead ends are bad news. Unless it in NJ then it's desirable.
I don't get good vibes from the apartment complex. Altho it's definitely not the worst neighborhood in NE Philly
Be safe.

I went Afton store many times…And Amy/Jojo/Anna/Lucy are all nice, they all did great service for me…and they have good relationships with their neighbors. I don’t think there is dangerous. I think It might be malicious slander by peers, because they will be star rising of NE Philly. Anyway, I will go back again.
