Personally, I don’t like waiting in a room full of customers anywhere. But that’s just me. Last visit to 98 there was just myself and a much older gentleman who looked on his last legs. It was early and we were the only two customers. Two ladies came out from the back, saw us and chose me first probably because I looked like I wouldn’t die in the room. I thought they cleaned up the spot as best they could, moved some furniture around and it did appear to be slightly cleaner than before. There’s the sink of course. But it’s all a rite of passage in this place where pretty much anything goes.
FYI I had a nice conversation with the older security guard downstairs last time. He told me guys were pissing in the stairway on the 6th floor and he knew why. It’s a shame but after the deed is done boys, piss in the sink and run the taps.
