I'm not sure how much they pay to the house per massage. If they get 60, and have to pay 40 to the house, they'll make only 20. It is tax free money and it is higher than 15 min wage. However, they don't work every hour. We would have to guess how many clients they service everyday, if they don't have clients they will be sitting there and getting nothing. To me pay whatever you want. I have never paid 40 or 60. They would probably take it rather than sitting on the couch with nothing. The women at mott start at 9:30am and they used to work till 8pm that a 10.5 hour day.

Tipping a extra 10-20 isn’t a white knight.
To state that prices or requested tip amounts have gone up, when they have not, and to talk about inflation and how these women put their health at risk and we should tip them well .... that is shilling.

I have been going to Mott for years and have only had one negative experience on the sixth floor and not one on the 3rd. Let me clarify, watching an old lady clean her kuetch in the sink that I just pissed in is not a negative experience, banging Nana on the 3rd floor is not a negative experience. Lisa and Lilly on the 6th and Lucy and Lilly on the 3rd have always given me great service. I enjoy the company, the massage and the experience, but when I have a BBQ this Labor Day week-end they are not coming. Keep it in perspective.

A K-girl (mature woman) once explain to me that a massage provider gets a piece of the house fee and keeps her tips. She was the owner/MMS and provided massages as well. When ever there was a new girl she would push the new girl. The owner was my favorite because she gave a really good massage but only did HJ. One day she gave an excellent BBJ and I tipped her more and asked her why she hadn't done this before. She didn't have an answer. I have no idea how things work in CT. Does the massage provider get a cut of the house fee? Does the house get a cut of the tips? Do they split there tips like the wait staff at Olive Garden? I have no clue. I do suspect that they are not reporting tips as income for tax purposes.

Don't try and get in these their heads.

One provider told me she gets 15 dollars of house fee and keeps all tips.

If a worker had 4 clients per day at a tip of $40 that is an annual income of $30400. At a tip of $60 that is an annual income of $57000. You cannot live on that comfortable in NYC. Understand that this is a tax free income so you would have to calculate a tax equivalent yield or what ever you would call it. All I am saying is this is not minimum wage. More than likely they have other things going on as well.

You should know that these women are not your friends. They are women of business. If what you tip gets you the service you want great. If it makes you feel good, then that is on you. Understand that they do not need a white knight; they are able to take care of themselves. They are survivors. If there are guys shilling for these women then it is not a good thing.
That's tax free tho.. pre tax would be like 100k

FYI - "Lisa" was my go to "girl" at Mott.

Despite her age, I always found her perfectly made up (nice manicure!), and accommodating.

My only gripe was the language "barrier," so I found it practically impossible to indicate I wanted (and was willing to pay for) a second "pop." :(

its funny with all these calculations people forget these women have to eat, sleep etc. like the rest of us, they don't live free and run on breeze cakes and air pies
My point was that I have a problem with guys shilling for the women. I have nothing against them, personally I like a lot of them. There are guys that grossly over tip and there are guys who are cheaper then hell and will want to go around the world on a discount ticket. They know how to handle them selves and they know how to deal with those guys. The guys doing the shilling should understand this. I respect a guy that give information on a possible scam or a possible robbery set up a lot more than a guy that saying "tip them more they need it." I respect the guy who is giving info on the latest things the cops are doing. We should be looking out for each other.

I will say it again, these women can take care of themselves.

Everyone complaining about prices going up, what do you expect, we are experiencing extreme inflation across the board. Literally everything has gone up in price, why would you be surprised that these women who are putting their health on the line for a few bucks wouldn't do the same? And I can guarantee that none of them are collection unemployment/PUA. Go visit your favorites, tip them well because who knows whats in store for the rest of the year, maybe lockdown part II?[/DETAILS]
Recommendation: Yes
Prices went up, really? All I know is that I used to give max 60 to 40th Rd workers. But in last one month or so I have seen at least 8 former 40th Rd SWs and gave them 40 bucks each.

The Arrogance is real ........
I tip for service rendered, those who do not want to tip I suggest when your employer gives you a bonus check, tell them no thanks because based on your salary, if you should go to one of those " peso spending countries" (as one monger said)
Then when you convert the money you would be like a King

I really am glad the humanitarian side of the argument showing concern for the Mott 6th ladies' well-being is being considered, but nobody is discussing the consumer's side. 119 Liz (I have not been to the new place) had staff that was at least 10 and likely 20 years younger than at Mott 6th and you didn't have to use a sink for a bathroom. But their house fees were the same.

Some people are suggesting the all-in fees between these places should have been similar. But this is a terrible value proposition for customers. Yes, paying less at Mott might reduce income for staff, but this has been their business model for years. I have paid $60 all-in at Mott 6th and did not receive one eyeroll or hint of a frown. I'm not saying people should never pay more than that, tip what you want, but I shouldn't feel obligated to pay an inflated price because of how the workers might be affected. Do you feel this way when you buy a $5 footlong at Subway? Do you have second thoughts about buying any goods at rock bottom prices because of what the implications may be for the business?

Instead of arguing over tips, ask why a dump of a place offering GILFs had (and maybe still has) the same house fee as a less nasty place with younger women.

People feel closer to some Women once they spend time with them intimately.

People will and should tip what they want. These Women are old. I don't see them and wouldn't see them. If they feel the tip is too low they can say no.
