But am I the only one that doesn't tip? I have only been back in country for like a year and in Japan and Korea for the last 10 we never tipped. Is it even worth it? I am a wandering monger and like to taste as many flavors as possible

I only tip when i know for sure I will be going back to the provider. Just for better service in the future. But if you know you wont be going back to the specific provider... then totally up to you man.

Tipping is your prerogative. Maybe we ought to eliminate bench marking between Japan/Korea and in this country? Tipping is about feeling good for both parties. Consideration between you two. She massage you to relaxation and tip her as an appreciation. You will feel good knowing you relaxed and she will feel good knowing she did her job. Again, between you two. I recommend not to ask us in public how much to tip. Read reviews/threads/comments and your common sense will tell you.

I rarely tip and almost never on the first visit. However I usually bring food/lunch for them which is just as good because they rarely have time to grab actual food and live off of instant ramen most the time...
