Yea I hear you. If you have clear expectations of what happens in strip clubs then they are great place to window shop, get revved up or chase the dream of scoring a OTC date.
Been to Pumps twice, more of a place of to hang out and throw singles. The drinks are very reasonable so it’s more like a bar than a strip club. With that being said, the lap dances take place in a separated area too, but there’s this funky split where you pay a lap dance area fee and then the dance separately. I could imagine some shenanigans takes place but I haven’t experienced any myself, just over priced lapdances. I would stick to peytons if in Brooklyn, with the knowledge that you’ll encounter many dancers past their prime and the very occasional hidden gem that won’t be there long.
