What's the deal with it being BYOB? First time I went, I just got a water and was charged $10. I don't mind because that's the only drink I will have. But I heard before people saying they pay their "$10 entry fee" . Is this what it's referring to? Do you HAVE to bring something to drink?

It’s a $10.00 cover charge. They don’t sell alcohol but you can bring in beer, wine or champagne. For the $10.00 cover they give you 1 or 2 waters or sodas. I typical bring in a 6 pack and they keep it cold and I’ll tip them for doing so but you don’t have to bring anything in.

Got it! One time I walked in with a water and they told me to dump it or leave, so I left.

And the time prior to that, this was my first time there, one of the girls was chatting with me as they all normally do and she found out I work in law enforcement and I saw her chat with the bartender immediately after. About 15 mins. later, bartender asked me to leave because I didn't bring my own beverages, so next time I brought a water and was asked to dump it or leave.

Very confusing.

It's a license thing on dumping out water.... could have been vodka in a clear bottle of water. When their Friday morning events started years ago, I went to one of the first ones and had a cup of Dunkin Donuts coffee with me and Patty explained to me the rules. Needless to say, the coffee at the PH is not a good substitute but that's not why I was there.

You can’t bring in soda, water or coffee, if they sell it, you can’t bring it in.

I’m no expert but you probably shouldn’t tell them you are law enforcement

that makes sense. wish they would have maybe explained that. no biggie. i'll go back in a few weeks and im sure they won't remember me
Wrong, I have a feeling they will remember you. Losing a few CD's worth of business is nothing. Getting busted and possibly shut down for months totals up to a boat load of money for everyone.

I didnt openly display that whatsoever. I mentioned that I defend clients and had just returned from a meeting. She said, "oh law enforcement?" And I just said if thats what you want to call it. Ill head back there this Friday to check it out. I was wearing a suit that day. This time ill wear street clothes

Long shot question. Been visiting since '94.... I lost track of Leticia post covid. Does anyone have any good info? Much appreciated. I enjoyed her company. Thanks
