Pick up at the food store

Was at the food store today and this nice looking full figured lady was checking me out. Our eyes locked a few times but I did not follow or stalk her in any way so either of us would feel uncomfortable.
Checked out and so happens she is parked almost right next to me saw her coming so I waited.......
Again our eyes locked, got in my car and saw her check me out from the rear view mirror.
If I only had some balls and besides I'm very shy.
Any pointers on what you would do or how possibly I could have approached her and not be awkward?

Look at her and smile. Then look at her car up and down and say “cool car!”. She says “thank you”. With an excited look say “CAN I DRIVE IT!” She laughs an says that’s not a good idea. Tell her she’s a party pooper. Tell her that just because she is cute, she can’t get away with disappointing you… well maybe for a month or two, but she shouldn’t abuse that power!
Then say “but seriously, I feel like we might have a connection and would like to talk sometime to get to know you better’ can I hand your number?

If she’s not interested she will tell you that she isn’t single. Either way she doesn’t have to give you her number. There’s nothing lost by asking for her number

Start with hello , you look nice today , what’s your Name , basic & simple & if she’s interested, you’ll know it . Ask for her number . If you don’t ask, the answer is always No . Shoot your Shot

Just go up to her and tell her you would like the massage first and fun after!!! jk .... Maybe lol . I'm not judging or implying to OP or anyone else so no disrespect with upcoming remarks but This is the problem these days with technology and social media. No one has social skills or natural instincts anymore. One thing about this hobby as well is your gonna get what your pockets allow to you so don't really need game. But in the real world have to have full confidence and can't be afraid of rejection. This day of age , no time to really BS around either. You see a hot chick , go up to her and tell her what's on your mind ...... Being respectful lol and truthful .

A great approach is over the top, mistaken identity. Walk up to her and say "You look familiar. Did we hook up in Vegas one drunk'in night, after the Wayne Newton concert?"

If she doesn't laugh you know she is no fun. If she plays along you might have a found a fun one.

Say "I am sorry I didn't get your phone number but I had to get out of the hotel pool, when security came".

Make up something so crazy she will know you're kidding around with her and a fun person. Say "we really gave that crowd at the bar a show didn't we."
