I'm on the East Coast outside NYC. Not sure what the smoke conditions are across the country. Here we have had two days now of visible smoke and the smell of fire in the air. Air quality is horrendous and in some area they have declared a code red air quality alert.

If you have family members with respitory conditions, check on them and if possible, keep them indoors somewhere with an air filtered HVAC system.

I work in Healthcare, and we have had an influx of patients in respitory distress today from the poor air quality.

I'm outside of Philly and was in the city earlier today. Sucks there too. Not as bad as NY but we're around 200 AQI. My eyes are burning from being outside, they feel like I've been hanging out at a firepit for 4 or 5 hours drinking beers lmao.

Not a bad idea. But not until this passes. It's really the worst I have ever seen. But on the bright side, finally masks will be doing something ;)

Out in Pottstown in PA. Last night, came out of a AM lady home right at sunset, and the sky was burning RED! This morning, I'm driving down my town's main street to my plant, right at sunrise. The street faces East, so sunrise is right there. It was again burning red and orange, sun just barely visible. Hazy all morning, then looked like sunset all day, that orange color to everything. Even inside my plant, we have air cleaning devices and are mostly protected from the outside air, but you could smell all day the stench like the pipes old men used to smoke when I was small, like cherry and vanilla.

I was in my life in three places where a war was happening, and I never saw air like this, even when oil refineries and shipyards were bombed and burning up. Reminds me of how heavy industrial cities in the China looked last time I was there. Very apocalyptic!

Anyone afraid that during the apocalpyse that is sure to follow there may no be AMPs? No! Even in the Walking Dead, off-camera of course, there were AMPs.

Im in Queens NY, and its absolutely terrible. Today at around 2pm it was at its worst with the sky looking like it was dusk already. Your literally breathing fire air and its progressively scratching your lungs. Its been causing a somewhat mini panic with people rushing to supermarkets to stock up on essentials. I believe it's supposed to pass by friday.

I'm from the Hazleton area. Tuesday was bad. Today, Wednesday was absolutely horrendous. The smoke looked like thick fog and the smell all day at work left me with a sinus headache. Hearing relief is coming tomorrow.

Kids are complaining about headaches and feeling off from the air, I can only imagine how this is affecting older people with health issues.
