Years ago I asked one provider I saw (black girl) why she didn't see black guys. She said her neighbors start calling the cops when they see black guys coming in & out of the building all day, but they ignore an endless parade of white guys. This was in the Bx near Southern Blvd & the 180s by the zoo - not a lot of white people live around there, which is ironic in itself.

sometimes it's a b&s scam, sometimes it's a lie to seem high end so they don't lose white clients who may be disgusted to see a provider who touched a black man. pimps looking to avoid other pimps, and other times legit racism. if she advertises no AA and your white assume she's bait and switch. if she doesn't advertise but you know she doesn't see blacks but they don't advertise it ala hot russians and a1 spa, then it's probably a good time.

This is way more logical than others may give credit to. The same happens in porn. In the past and only slightly less so today many ladies won't do scenes with non white males for fear of losing marketability and therefore money. Nothing to do with their own preferences or own racism, it certainly has to do with overall persistence of racism in society. Of course there are genuine prejudices, as a Latin male I have to admit that there are a lot of racist folks in our community and most aren't all of European decent. Many even of Afro-Latino or Afro-Caribbean origin and will look down on African Americans. Truly a fucked up world sometimes.
I remember reading about the orgins of that year's back and it just blowing my mind how subversive that sort of dehumanization is. People don't realize that maybe today only a small percentage understand or acknowledge the origins but the effects persist because it's there to make black men seem subhuman, slaves to baser instincts. Without control and unable to think for themselves, which is a subversive way to promote fear and prejudice against them within the rest of society.

The REAL reason they (agencies) do asian only or no AA is shrewd advertising. They know the insecurities of their client base (and all Americans in general) and even though most of us are not idiots, a small part of us still wants to believe the lie she’s selling.
