I'm not a huge fan but I saw them in concert a couple of times and am nonetheless bummed. I was surprised too. Too many of the legends have gone in recent years ...Lemmy, Bowie, Vinnie Paul, Jon Lord, etc., etc.

Talkin’ ‘bout my generation — Jimi, Janice, Jim Morrison, Keith Moon, Brian Jones, Bonzo, Ginger Baker, Zappa, Alvin Lee, John & George, etc, etc. “In my life, I loved them all.”
Man, there are too many to list. My 25 year old daughter has a music collection that is more reflective of someone born in 1954 as opposed to someone born in 1994. She said to me a couple of years ago, "dad, I'd love to go to a rock concert but almost everyone I really like is dead!"

Yeah, I forgot about Ginger Baker passing very recently though.

It's amazing how many young folks love classic rock. My daughter is like yours. In 2005, when she was 15, I took her to see Ronnie Wood & Friends at a theater in London. It was an awesome concert, and Ronnie's special guest was Mick Jagger! I also took her to see Paul McCartney in concert three years ago. If you are looking for a great concert to see with your daughter, I highly recommend seeing Sir Paul. He has a killer band with two really hot guitarists, and he still sounds great. They played for three hours and did about 40 songs, including 25 great Beatles tunes.
