I just told the wife that I was going to get a massage. Sore back, leg, whatever. That and a little extra cash back allows for more generous tips.
That way, when I return smelling of an AMP and a bit oily, it makes sense...
My back is improving, by they way ;-)

I also had to deal with this. The separate account thing could arouse suspicions.

You need to use cash as much as you can wherever you go. Then that justifies taking money out of the ATM. Then you skim alittle off the top every time you take out money for your "Me Fund". Not alot because the SO will ask why is the money gone so quickly.

How do you guys withdraw cash from joint account to go AMPs?
What do you tell your SO where the cash goes.

I really wanted to get back to AMPs, but after getting joint account with SO, I can't really find a way to fund the hobby.
Best way is if you have direct deposit at work, set up a second account for hobbying....they can set it up for a weekly amount , she'll never know unless you let her see your stubs !

Start doing cashbacks as well @oldfartbr. An extra $60 each time you go to the store. Adds up.
I second this cash back method when using debit cards when getting groceries.
The idea is to take out a bit at a time.

Also,
Have a reason to withdraw cash from your checking account by going to establishments that only take cash or will reduce the total cost if paying by cash. There are certain restaurants/food courts that only take cash... if you live up north, Mitsuwa's food court in Edgewater only take cash. Some local restaurants as well.

Most local mechanic shops will lower the bill or repair up to 7% if paying in cash.

We shared credit card as well, will it shows up as "Angel Wellness", that is a very suspicious name lol, will be awesome if it can shows up as "Bob car care" or sth similar.
It will show up as “H SPA MASSAGE THERAPHY INC” on your credit card statement.

Ok. Not to beat a dead horse but, when you are at Home Depot or Walmart and you take cash out at the check out. Does it show up also cash withdrawals or does it show up as a final bill?

When you make a purchase at Wal-Mart and ask for cash back, the cash back amount will appear directly below the purchase amount on the same receipt.

Example: if you buy something with your debit card for $25 and ask for $20 cash back, the receipt will show it as follows:

Debit tend 25

Debit cash back 20

Total Debit Purchase 45

Change Due 20

Hope this helps you !

The best way to do things is have your own acount, she has her own account, then have a house account that you both add to. Never let a woman have access to your main account because no matter how much you think you can trust them, You Can’t.... especially if things go sour.
