Have been at this for a few years now but still get that rush of anxiety when a new place has an exposed entrance or is loud once you are inside. Sucks when you can’t relax. Wondering what places make you feel the most safe. Thinking places with 2 door systems, hidden entryways/side doors, etc. Any suggestions welcome

Not asking for UTR locations, just ones with safe/discrete entrances. It’s something people note quite frequently in reviews (I.e. “on a busy street” or alternatively “two door system, very safe”). Didn’t think that would be violating norms to start a discussion on, but perhaps I’m mistaken

Pretty much all the Midtown GFE places that require identification. 98 Mott is discreet location. However if your non-asian everybody will know what your there for.

Several years ago, have had gone to a place, which is on top of a restaurant... parked nearby. found out that entrance was in rear, stairs leading up to the 2nd floor, near the restaurant kitchen and garbage. Kitchen staff were smoking and talking. Very awkward to go through the 5 guys to get to the stairs. It was very obvious that everyone knew where and why I was going to. turns out place wasnt worth it. met same guys going back down.... lol

Dude no one knows who you are, even if they know what you are up to, they can’t do anything about it, keep this in the back of your mind and you wont be fazed anymore. Unless youre a celebrity, you got nothing to fear. Go forth and sow your seeds with confidence.

...so true, and most people are so caught up in their own shit, they don’t see you for more than a random person in the world and assume absolutely nothing about you

This kind of like how you will never forget your cringiest, most awkward moments while everyone else that was there probably forgot the next day.
Forget next day, more like next 10mins. Now with covid, everyone walks around with a mask on, literally no one but your sister can recognize you in the street.

I take the same approach when I see another monger, nod my head and just move on, we’re all in this together.
I agree 100% with u. Some people freak if they run into another monger at one of these places. Look I probably won’t go have a drink with u but fuck it no surprise why we are there. But on a side note would be really fuckin awkward if u run into your boss or co-worker
