I think the more likely scenario is that she was probably paid in advance and decided she was uncomfortable with the situation because they were drunk and/or high, and she decided to leave. Then the dudes demanded their money back and she said no, so they tried to take it from her. I doubt that the plan was to rob her. Sparta is the ritzy town of Sussex County, and one of the guys is a restaurant owner. Dumbass drunk rich dudes is my guess.
