I had triple bypass surgery in 2008. It was successful, but it left me with a scar about twelve inches long, right on the 50-yard line. It has faded over time, and I had some laser treatments from a dermatologist to fade it even more. Today it looks more white than red, but it's still there and always will be. But it's never caused a problem with anyone I've visited. Most don't even say anything, though they surely notice it. But the girls who ask me about it seem genuinely concerned, not grossed out. They ask if I had a heart attack (I didn't), and just sense they should treat me a little more carefully. So they don't lean on it too hard or touch it too directly, even when they're sliding naked on top of me. I'm sorry for your medical troubles, but you'll probably make out OK. And if one person doesn't accept it, the next one will. Good luck.
