I typically like to freshen up before visiting my favorite Midtown GFE Asian style spa. I would typically go to Macy's or the Manhattan mall. But they are closed. Target is open but they have closed the public restrooms. I can go pee at Penn Station or Grand Central, but I would hate to have to poop there if I did not have to.

Anyone know which restrooms are open?

Macy’s is open, I use it before my visits to any of the major spots in the area. And you have multiple floors of restrooms, all very clean

You guys are right—hotels are your best bet.

Hampton Inn (right across the street from Penn Station) has their bathroom downstairs. You will need a key to enter but just wait outside until someone leaves or uses a key to enter.

Lotte New York Palace (455 Madison Ave) has their bathroom on the second floor. But there’s a gentleman who is there all the time cleaning the place. Once you come and wash your hands, he’ll give you a paper towel and ask if you need anything else. lol.

All hotels, just walk pass security and the front desk and go straight to the bathroom. :)

The BEST public bathroom in NYC is supposed to be in Sherman Square, next to the N/R stop at 32nd.

Never been, but supposed to be nice..., and CLEAN. :poop:
