Maspeth wiped out?

Decided to check out Thai Spa in Maspeth, which was the Grand Spa people moved around the corner. They had been advertising regularly, number goes straight to voicemail and says just to come by anytime.

Got there and the usual giant stickers all over the door saying they were shut down. Nixes those plans, so I decide to walk over to another spot I would frequent a few blocks away and boom, that place is closed up too with padlocks on the door like they never existed. No stickers or anything, just seems like they closed up and bailed.

Was there a Maspeth clean sweep recently? If there are any new Maspeth spots, DM me.

We've been down this road before....Maspeth has never and will never have a plethora of good options. Don't like it , find a way to get the staunch 50 year old conservative Greek Catholic and moderate leaning Jews out of there. But odds are without a train or light rail no young people will move there which means the demographic won't change.

Maspeth is a destination for a specific type of family that are highly sanitized and moderately affluent. High home ownership and traditional values. It will be impossible for any sort of illicit activity to remain there long.

Yes for most of Maspeth. However the part that's near warehouses better shot. There was a fast house there for years.

I've heard recently another or same fast house is back in biz there.

Maspeth had a booming spa scene. There were spas all over myrtle a 24 7 fs k spa, across the street an fs c spa, a r&t by the cvs, and a bunch of joints going towards elmhurst. But then the cops declared war in like 2016

It is a tug of war between sexually frustrated mid life crisis 47.5 year old Men vs. their harried Wife and 2 kids and a dog. Soccer mom is calling the local congressman to ensure Daddy has as little fun as possible and dies quickly from stress so she can collect AFLAC life insurance

Based on as many married broads from ridgewood and maspeth I've met hunting for Latin and BBC in bushwick I believe it lol.
