Yes, that's it. Sort of a basement office with suites. It has had terrible reviews lately.

JJ's on 83rd is closed now maybe temporarily. I can tell you Hua Kang Qi Gong Tui-na on 74th is legit but solid and inexpensive. Shuangda Massage down the block from JJs on 83rd gave a surprise fun finish although the woman was not very attractive. Not very upscale places.

JJ's on 83rd is closed now maybe temporarily. I can tell you Hua Kang Qi Gong Tui-na on 74th is legit but solid and inexpensive. Shuangda Massage down the block from JJs on 83rd gave a surprise fun finish although the woman was not very attractive. Not very upscale places.

That place has been there for a while and I always had my suspicions based on the curtains covering the windows, but I could never go because I live extremely close by. No chance I could go in there without someone me and my family knows seeing me haha

JJ’s is open with a new location on 85th, though I haven’t been since they closed on 83rd. They were one of my favorite joints when I lived in UWS.

In my head, I think I counted around 11-12 places above 72nd on UWS that I know about. They're literally every few blocks and on some streets, 2 different places. That doesn't include the indies giving massages in the Lincoln Center area.... Or Columbus Circle area.

I appreciate the community here and sharing spots and what girls do and for how much and all that, but what is missing is good old fashioned chemistry, attraction, loyalty, etc. I would suggest to any monger that if they go to a place and are kind, clean and respectful, and continue to be a good customer multiple times and always tip well, that things WILL develop nicely. Obviously it helps to be young, fit and handsome -- none of which I am, by the way.

But I have made a habit around town and being a good ambassador and complimenting girls, be friendly, tipping well. It tends to open up interesting doors.

But if someone is just looking for a wham/bam, thank you kind of experience, then yes - the UWS is a barron wasteland of opportunity.

I haven't tried the ones around Lincoln Center, but I have seen them mentioned here and also see the ads some days on Bedpage. I got semi-addicted back in the day to Uptown Girls and I always think they're another version of that.

As for favorites, I've worked to cultivate relationships at places, e.g., taking Melissa's Cupcakes to a place when I show up for a massage. For me at least, this is why it's hard to just make a recommendation and have others expect to have the same experience.

The problem is most people are lazy and want others to do the work for them.
Like Magellan above. It's not hard to find THE ONLY collective working in Lincoln center area. But instead of actually trying, it's easier for everyone to just ask for it to be handed to them.
