I can't defend orgs unscrupulous practices. This is part of the business. Some are better than others and its reflected in their popularity and reputation. I've been a victim myself walking in on whom I thought was new but clearly it was someone I've seen before. Took it all in stride. Changed my ranking of the org accordingly.
