Guys, for those who go to their spots for the legit messages, with extras I know the averages but I guess I offended my semi regular spot when I just wanted a massage (which they do well) and only gave $20, was that too low??

dont go to amps for just legit massage , they dont want that because its an amp . go to the legit places and tip 20 . your wasting their time. they dont care about you its the time , why would they work so hard for an hour for 20 bucks when they could of made 40 . 60 . 80 and perhaps more . you tipped way too low . your tip was for a pizza delivery .

What was HF, how long was the massage for and was it an acceptable massage..did you get what you wanted? These are the things to factor in. I know most AMP girls work primarily on tips but if the massage sucked, shorted on time, etc then dont feel obligated to break the bank on tipping for subpar service. Agree with others assuming 60 mins and massage was decent with no extras or HE about $40, $20 was too low

considering the massage was $60-$70, $20 is a really generous tip. A legit massage place would charge upwards of $90-$120 where a $20 tip would be average. So his tip was just fine. If the argument is these places are just a cover for prostitution and they want $40 or more every-time they get someone on the table, that's different and I guess then his tip would have been seen as low. But he didn't get the service to warrant more than $20.

Sometimes you just feel like having a burger? I know what you're trying to say, but he did nothing wrong. The AMP is just USED to getting $40 or more because 99.9% of customers want their dicks played with.

I don't think he did anything wrong either, 20$ is an ok tip for a legit massage.
Knowing the different cultures between a legit place and an amp place would be a good thing...

At 100% TM $20 tip for 60 mins legit massage session is bare minimum IMHO. For a quality massage avg tip is $30. $40 in case it’s 90 mins. provider gets cut in HF and 100% tip. If you are going to a place that offers extra, it’s a different story. Min expectations is $40

I go to a place they give legit massages and it's $48 for the hour. I give $60 and feel fine leaving that. 25% tip is more than enough

man... when i spoke to another one of their workers from a while back, she told me some literally come JUST for the massage because they are that good. i didnt think we should tip the same even if no "extra work" was done... but lesson learned i suppose.

it was just 30 mins and gave $20 and still got the rolling eyes... but thanks everyone for your input i guess 100% go to a legit spot but man they do a good massage.

If it was only 30min massage, $20 was enough. I just get a massage at my regular spot too at times, but tip like usual, but i get the full hour massage
