I see it everywhere. Like steak. Have you seen the price of meat in supermarkets? Or priced a car. It’s the massive inflation because of stimulus money just inflated everything. Prices everywhere are coming back to normal what I am seeing. Other than Manhattan apartments.
Everything is so g*d damn expensive lately and I feel like we hit a price peak and are dropping.
I read that more than fifty percent of houses bought in New York City were bought with cash in 2023. Thats not good for anybody it means normal people are priced out.
And when did the tip in the massage places start being $300 in. Every time I think I am not going to pay it but end up paying it I feel robbed.
I know this is a thread about girls but it’s about pricing and it’s relevant. Everything that went artificially high has to start coming down soon.
I also see a lot less of the Eros and tryst providers thinking they can get $600/$800
$400 is too much and $8.99 a pound for beef is too much and $3500 for a crap 1 bedroom no doorman building in Manhattan

I occasionally browse StreetEasy to see what rents would be like if I had to move at a given point (have a great deal and good landlord so not the plan currently, but I just like to look sometimes) and earlier this week saw there are much more reasonable prices than what had been out there for the past couple years. Could’ve just been timing (it’s winter after all) or luck of the draw but hopefully it is the start of a trend.
